As a native Chicagoan, Basileios Foutris knows how the police truly behave.
He knows firsthand what it feels like to have a gun pointed at his head for
doing nothing more than driving in a neighborhood the police believe he
does not belong in.  His firsthand experiences motivate him every day, and
push him to achieve the same result for all his clients: justice.

Basileios Foutris has been remarkably successful in achieving justice for his
clients.  For example, he has won numerous civil rights trials, his advocacy
has resulted in many significant settlements for victims of police
misconduct, and he has never lost an appeal.

For the last decade, Basileios Foutris has focused his practice exclusively on
civil rights cases, and, in particular, on police misconduct cases.  Since
founding Foutris Law Office, his practice has been limited to representing
victims of police misconduct.  As a civil rights lawyer, he has been involved
in numerous cases involving wrongful death, police shootings, police
brutality, illegal searches, false arrest, coerced confessions, malicious
prosecution, and other police misconduct.

Basileios Foutris is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois, in the
United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, in the United States
District Court for the Northern District of Illinois as a member of the Trial
Bar, in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois,
and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
Basileios Foutris earned his B.A. from Northwestern University and his J.D.
from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
